How to do ventilation for gas stove cabinets
Proper ventilation of gas stove cabinets is crucial for safety and user experience. Here are some common methods:
1、 Reserved ventilation holes
Opening holes on the cabinet side panel: Circular ventilation holes can be opened on the cabinet side panel near the gas stove according to the appropriate size (such as the 100120mm diameter mentioned earlier). The opening position should be as close as possible to the bottom of the gas stove, so that fresh air can directly enter the combustion area of the gas stove.
Drilling holes on cabinet backboards: If the cabinet backboard is against the wall but there is a certain gap between it and the wall, holes can be drilled on the backboard. This method allows air to enter from behind the cabinet, creating good air convection.
2、 Install ventilation system
Ventilation fan: Install a small ventilation fan inside the cabinet and fix it in a suitable position on the cabinet side or back panel. When using the gas stove, turn on the ventilation fan to accelerate the circulation of air. The power of the ventilation fan can be selected according to the size of the cabinet and ventilation requirements. Generally, a ventilation fan with a ventilation volume of about 510 cubic meters per minute can meet the needs of household use.
Ventilation duct: If the cabinet is located in a poorly ventilated area, ventilation ducts can be installed. One end of the ventilation duct is connected to the interior of the cabinet, and the other end leads to the outside or a well ventilated area. This can exhaust the exhaust gas inside the cabinet while introducing fresh air.
3、 Reasonable design of cabinet structure
Using a grille door: Design the cabinet door below the gas stove in a grille shape, with a gap width of about 510 millimeters. This can ensure the beauty of the cabinet and allow natural air circulation, but the ventilation effect of the grid door is relatively limited and can be used as an auxiliary ventilation method.
Leave space at the bottom: When designing cabinets, do not let the bottom of the cabinet completely fit the ground. You can leave a gap of 510 centimeters to allow air to enter the cabinet from the bottom.
